Recently, we learned that BYD Han L will be officially launched on April 9. Previously, Han L announced a pre-sale price range of 270,000-350,000 yuan. This model is built on BYD’s Super e platform, which has a 1000V high charging voltage and a megawatt flash charging battery, which can achieve a 400km charging range in 5 minutes, a 30511rpm global mass-produced drive motor, a single motor with a maximum of 580kW, 0-100km/h acceleration in 2 seconds, and a maximum speed of more than 300km/h.
Han L continues the classic design of the current Han. The slender front headlights and daytime running lights are still together and connected to the chrome grille. The new front surround looks more dynamic, the body shape is streamlined, and the wind resistance coefficient is lower.
In terms of power, BYD Han L will provide pure electric and plug-in hybrid versions. The plug-in hybrid model is equipped with BYD’s fifth-generation DM hybrid technology and a new 1.5T hybrid-specific engine with a maximum power of 115 kilowatts and a maximum motor power of 200 kilowatts. The pure electric range is 145km and 170km, and the acceleration time from 0 to 100km/h is 3.9 seconds.
